Welcome to the new Chai G blog

Thank you for visiting. We are a small family business sharing our love for the traditional home-brewed Chai tea that we grew up with in India, and continue to enjoy at home here in California.

Since so many friends have asked us, we have decided to start packaging it to share.

If you have not experienced the difference between a fresh-brewed cup of chai vs. the liquid pre-mixed concentrates served at most cafes, you are in for a special treat.

Anyone familiar with the Chai served at the railway stations or street stalls by shopping malls in India can enjoy that nostalgic feeling in the comfort of your own home very easily.

All you will need is a small pot, some fresh drinking water and a stovetop. Traditionally, milk and sugar are added. That part is up to your taste buds and dietary constraints. If you don’t do dairy, you have options of soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk or no milk. Same goes with several choices of sweeteners.
